How to edit user access

Only admin users can edit a user's access.

To edit a user's access

  1. Go to the user's User Details page.

  2. Scroll down to the Modules table.

There are 3 levels of access

  • No Access: The user cannot access the module. To revoke access, turn off the toggle next to the module name.
  • Full Access: The user has access to all features of the module. To grant access, turn on the toggle next to the module name.
  • Limited Access: The user can access the module but with restrictions on certain features. These restrictions are set using policies. The number of policies applied to each module will be displayed in the Modules table.

To limit access to a module

  1. Find the module in the Modules table.
  2. Turn on the toggle to grant Full Access to the module first.
  3. Click Edit Permissions. A list of policies will appear, showing feature restrictions that can be applied to the user.
  4. Select the policies you want to apply to restrict the user's access.
  5. Once finished, click outside the panel to close it. The policies will be applied, and the module access will be updated to Limited Access.
