How to collect payments with Tap and Pay on the Rubric app

Make sure to complete the set up guide on your Clubs portal and download the latest Rubric app version on your phone. Visit Get started: Set up Tap and Pay on Rubric app to complete set up before you use Tap & Pay on Rubric app.


To collect payments, open Rubric app, go "Collect Payment" tab on the bottom menu and follow these steps:

  1. Select the society that you collect the payments on behalf of as a seller
  2. Select one of the sale types: Membership, Event ticket, Merchandise or Other. If you are selling an item that is neither Membership, Event ticket or Merchandise, select Other.
  3. Select one of the items in that sale types. If you select Other in the previous step, enter a description of the item that you are selling
  4. Enter the buyer's email to record the sale and send receipt to buyer.
  5. If you choose Other, enter the price amount of the item
  6. Select "Tap and Pay" to collect the paymenty 



All payments collected from Tap & Pay will be recorded and shown on the Clubs Portal.
To view all payments:

  • Log in to your Clubs portal
  • Select Tap & Pay on the top menu bar
  • All payments and its details will be shown in the payment table
